Topographic Maps can also be purchased from many map dealers in New York for their particular regions.
Such maps can also be purchased for all parts of the state, and at several scales, from the
NYS Department of Transportation

The following links will connect you to the Cornell University Geospatial Information Repository and the page location for downloading USGS Digital Elevation Model data and metadata. These data have a 10- by 10-meter data spacing and are provided in 7.5 minute by 7.5 minute blocks (i.e. USGS quadrangle maps.)
